Elijah’s 2nd Annual Autism Celebration was a huge success! This year we were able to sponsor 30 kids and teens. The months of planning really paid off. I cant thank all the sponsors enough! It was beautiful to see all the kids together and parents getting to know each other. One parent came to me and said “this is really for the parents, there’s no judgement. Wow!! What an amazing day! I can’t even put into words all the emotions I’m feeling. To see all the kiddos have fun and not have a care in the world. Just truly melts my heart. I think the one thing that stood out was how the parents felt. So many of them expressed how happy they felt to be around one that wouldn’t judge them or look at them wide eyed.
